The Ubuntu Summit 26.04's call for remote lightning talks is open and we are looking for speakers who desire to share their bold vision of the future. Here are just a few themes that align with the Summit spirit:
- Groundbreaking new projects.
- Innovation in open ecosystems and communities.
- Crossing the divide from proprietary to open source.
Online isn't the only way to take part. We're inviting local open source communities to host watch parties for the summit, known as “Ubuntu Summit Extended”.
Connect with fellow lovers of open source, tune into sessions together, and take part in real-time conversations.

The Ubuntu Summit focuses on the global nature of our community by making it a remote first event. However, this is not a passive endeavor - Remote attendees can ask questions to our speakers, take part in interactive activities, and even participate in exclusive giveaways.
While the physical event takes place in London, watch parties and Summit extended events are hosted all over the world by local communities.
You're invited to contribute
Are you working on something amazing, or want to give back to the open source community? Then the Ubuntu Summit is the place to do it.
